This is one of the very highly detailed Airfix kits with just over 150 finely moulded components. This is the kit that comes closest to the Repulse kit in terms of quality moudings and detail. My 1986 edition as no moulding flaws of any kind. Parts that stand out are the light AA, the funnel (covered in detail), the aircraft catapult, torpedo tubes, and bridge. This kit was first released in 1974 but looks like a modern product. Airfix did get the overal length of this vessel wrong however and its is about 16 scale feet too long. Given this, though, the kit overall is first rate.
