HISTORY | |||||||||||
This new Shipyard Models kit depicts
a project designed by the Schichau Yard that was never built.

HULL | |||||||||||
The hull is well cast waterline style with virtually all the superstructure. Casting is clean and sharp and the detail is good. |

FUNNEL AND DETAILS | |||||||||||
The funnels are one piece with the ends slightly hollowed out. The smaller one is cast onto the deck with splinter shields in place. The main gun turrets are cast as a single part with separate gun barrels. Small weapons and fittings have pretty good detail and only a small film of flash to remove. | |||||||||||

INSTRUCTIONS | |||||||||||
The instructions are two pages with an exploded view and
line drawings of the plan and profile. These are very basic and I would
have liked to see more subassembly views, but these should prove to be
adequate to build this kit.
