Exclusive CAD Preview

Do you long for the good old days when you could crank out a kit in a matter of hours? When models were easily built without frustration? Well enter new upstart Lizard Models with their new 1/350 USS Bunion Simple Kit. Lizard is striving to get that assembly time down to minutes instead of hours. We are pleased to present the pre-release CAD of their new kit and it certainly looks promising. No trick high tech slide molds used here, just good old fashion two part molds with lots of draft!

Lizard Models says, Why make something out of 20 parts when one piece will do?  This kit features 20 mm guns molded to the deck! No assembly required and no need to break out the tweezers and optivisor! One piece 5" gun houses, that are close enough for government work with nice thick barrels. The parts count is low to free up your modeling time.

Check out the very sturdy masts and jackstaff, the intricate aztec stairs and the smooth superstructure sides not marred by all kinds of unnecessary details. The kit will come with peel and stick decals, and a 30 page instruction booklet.
If failing eyesight and physical dexterity are becoming a problem for you, then you are in luck! We promise you won't be spending anymore time fighting with the carpet monster if you drop any parts as they are big enough to be seen from across the room. You can get this kit from Wallyworld for $1.99 US or £50.00 GBP in the UK.

Very special thanks to Lizard Models for the free review samples, Final Four tickets, box of chocolates and flowers to influence my opinion of their kits. Lizard promises to follow up with some British Navy subjects in their next Simple Kit release! Stay tuned.
