| This kit is designed for the war gamer but offers some interesting
diorama possibilities for the modeler. At 1/2400 scale you can model and
entire task force on a table top. The detailing is not all that bad for
this small scale. The unique lines of the Wasp are easily recognized when
the parts are assembled.
The kit is cast metal one piece for the hull with a separate flight deck. The superstructure is one part with the mast cast in place. A boat crane is included as a serrate part. |

| Aircraft are included look like Wildcats and Corsairs. Only the Wildcats would have actually been used as this ship was sunk before the Corsair came into service. |  |
