Toms Modelworks has released of photo-etch detail set designed for the venerable 1/350 Titanic, Set 35102 "Titanic Lifeboat Davit Pulleys".
THE FRET

 
The small fret has three different types of lifeboat pulleys:
  • Stowed 30ft lifeboat
  • Stowed 25ft cutter
  • Deployed 25ft cutter

The pulleys are relief etched on one side, with the blocks being thicker than the "ropes".  These are designed to work alongside Tom's sets 350-01 and 350-02. 

INSTRUCTIONS

Instructions consist of one side of a piece of paper.  Here you'll find a list of the different pulleys, how to bend them, how to install them, along with a photo of them deployed on Titanic.   

CONCLUSIONS
 

One hundred and fourteen years after her sinking, the "Ship of Dreams" continues to fascinate, and continues to be a popular modeling subject.  This set is designed for the venerable 1/350 Titanic, and will help modelers up the details their lifeboats. In addition to these pulleys, there are numerous other photo-etch and 3D printed products for Titanic available on Tom's website, for those who really want to go the extra mile detailing their model.  Recommended.
