Ok, now for something completely different… Diorama fanatics,

Each packet comes with parts to make two coconut trees,
resin tree trunks and brass fronds in different sizes. The idea is
to two take 2 medium, 1 large and 1 small size fronds and slip over the
trunk and bend the fronds into a realistic looking tree.
Instructions are provided to help you along, though my sample has them
in French. The latest ones are available in English. The quality
of the brass and resin parts is excellent, and this quality has become
the norm with L’Arsenal products. |

While the trees are technically 1/350 scale, I am sure
that they will look perfectly fine in a 1/400 scale diorama.
This is a really cool detail set the likes of which I haven’t seen before.
I lift my piña colada to Jacques Druel and Pierre Marchal for designing
this product.
Now everybody, from the top…. I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts… |
