Flyhawk continues to release new photo etch sets for ship modelers. This one includes 20 quad 40 mm mounts. More than enough to detail any US Navy Battleship or Carrier, or a whole fleet of tin cans.

The parts are all relief etched to make the details stand out and give a more 3D appearance. 
40 mm Quad Mount (x 20)
The quad 40 mm mounts includes separate twin gun assemblies that fold up into a realistic assembly. Note these are left and right hand versions with sights attached on the appropriate side. Splinter shields are provided for each mount. Relief etched base rings are also included as well as fold up bases with platforms.

Conclusions:

This is another handy set to have around for detailing your 1/700 scale US Navy ships. These photo etch weapons are a great improvement over the typical plastic ship parts. This set retails for around $15.00 and can be found wherever fine ship accessories are found.
