| Starling Models has expanded its growing line of accessories with a second set of Imperial Japanese Navy railings. I believe this set is meant for ship types other than IJN battleships. | |

| There are two types of two bar railings included, straight
and drooped chain. The brass is 0.004 inches thick, which seems to
be the common width for photo etch railings. There are ten lengths of straight
bar and twenty-four lengths of drooped bar. That’s a pretty generous helping
of standard railings.
Both are correctly sized at a scale 900mm in height. Straight bar railings were used on the upper decks while the drooped chain version was mounted on main decks. |

| Parting Thoughts | |
These are delicate but nicely scaled railings. The retail price is £ 7.25 or about US$9.56 at the current exchange rate. Many thanks to Starling Models for the review sample. |
