This newly released detail up kit will give the skilled builder all they need to build a spectacular late 1942 version of CV6.  There is so much to this kit that this will be more of a photo re-view vs my commentary on every part and fret.. I think you can find everything you need to see in the photos.
METAL PARTS CNC TURNED
I did not de-bag the turned brass parts out of fear of loss, but there is a rather detailed listing of what they are and look like.  BigE-Metal-01

PHOTOETCH FRETS
There are a couple of this to point out here, most important, this detail up set DOES NOT include the wooden deck or the detail deck photo etch. Those are available separately. The second is that there is no photo etch for aircraft, not a criticism at all, I just wanted you to be aware of that.

INSTRUCTIONS
The Instruction book would not fit on my flatbed scanner, so I photographed it – poorly I might add. The frets are brass but the scans are in greyscale.

The kits retails for $299.95, but is available for $239.95 from Freetime Hobbies.  I would like to thank Visa for my review sample.

This is an amazing set and seems very well thought out. I cannot speak for its accuracy. Highly recommended
