A well designed gun used soley in the Hipper Class cruisers, it had admirable qualities in both range and power. It was mounted in sets of 2 per turret, with each ship having four of these twin turrets. A few of these guns were taken from the Seydlitz and used as coastal defense artillery as part of Germany's Atlantic Wall. |

These turned brass barrels are a must for your 1/700 Hipper Class cruiser. The barrels in the Tamiya kit are oversized, and the muzzle endpoints on the Trumpeter barrels are poorly molded; both kits will benefit from this barrel upgrade. Highly recommended.
