The 5"/25 was used extensively from the 1920's to the early 1940's on many USN ship types; cruisers, battleships and submarines. Designed to be the most powerful AA gun that could still be quickly trained and elevated by hand, it was only surpassed later by the now famous 5"/38. |

There are plenty of resin and plastic ships that can benefit from this barrel upgrade. It can be a little tricky to remove the barrel and drill the mounting hole and not damage the hydraulic recoil cylinder, but it's worth the effort.
