| Master Model of Poland has a set of turned barrels desgined to fit the HobbyBoss 1/350 German Battlecruiser Seydlitz, set SM-350-106, SMS Seydlitz Armament Barrels. | ||||||||||||||||||

| THE PARTS | ||||||||||||||||||
| The set includes 30 barrels:
ten 11in turned aluminum barrels for the main armament, 12 turned brass
barrels for the 150mm secondary guns and 6 barrels for the 88mm weapons.
Also included are two resin runners, each containing replacement resin
parts to attach the 11 inch metal barrels to the insides of the turrets.
I assemble one turret with the Master 11 inch gun barrels and resin parts, to compare them to a turret with the kit parts. You'll have to ream the hole for the interior turret rod enough to get the resin replacement part to slide onto the sleeve, but the result will be worth it. |

| Instructions are on both sides of a small piece of paper, which show drawings of the different types of barrels included in the set, along with visual and textual instructions on how to install them. | ||||||||||||||||||
| CONCLUSIONS | ||||||||||||||||||
| These barrels are very nice, and will be a nice
upgrade to your HobbyBoss Seydlitz. It will take some
time to cut resin replacement parts off the runners, clean them up, then
bore out the holes to those parts will fit inside the turret. But
the result should be worth it. The barrels - especially the 11 inch
guns - look better than the kit parts.
