The M2 Browning Heavy Machine gun was developed by John Moses Browning early in the 20^th century. The M2 has been in service with the United States Military- and many other nations- ever since. This machine gun served in almost every imaginable capacity, from AA ship defense and the main armament for combat aircraft, to man portable versions for anti-personnel and anti-material uses. Produced in many variations, this barrel set from Master replicates the air cooled barrels of an aircraft type gun from the 1940's. Being offered in 1/35 scale, these barrels are primarily intended for use on the Italeri 1/35 Elco PT boat kit.

These barrels come in 2 pieces; the gun barrel and the perforated cooling jacket. The barrel slides easily inside the jacket, giving the barrel an accurate, distinctive appearance no plastic molded part can ever approach.
