The Boeing CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter has been used by both the Navy and the Marines since the early 60's. It is used to transport troops and cargo. It is also commonly used in the vertical replenishment role supplying US Navy ships and supplementing the UNREP capabilities of supply ships. |
