The Grumman F9F-6 Cougar was a swept-wing evolution of the earlier F9 Panther. This dramatically improved the aircraft's handling and performance. The Cougar appeared to late to serve in combat during the Korean War. This version of the the Cougar, the -6, was the first production variant. The Cougar went on to have fifteen different variants; reconnaisance, training aircraft, drones and drone controllers.

Each Cougar is build from a number of parts;

• Resin Fuselage
• Resin Wings
• Photoetched landing gear, gear doors and horizontal stabilizers.

There are no decals included in this kit.

The packaging also provides assembly instructions. There are no painting steps or marking recommendations included.
