Swordfish Naval Models Accessories has sent us some additional products to review.  Among these is 35010002, 1/350 37MM-54 BREDA GUN MOD 1938 ON TWIN MOUNT. This weapon, which was used by the Regina Marina, was, according to NavWeaps, "This was the standard Italian close-range AA weapon used on larger ships during World War II. The guns used in the Model 1932 twin mounting were water-cooled with a recirculating pump, all other mountings used air-cooled guns. The magazines held only six rounds, but it was possible to load them sequentially and thus maintain a high rate of fire.  Differences between models were mainly mounting related."

THE PARTS
As is the norm, the parts arrive in a plastic clamshell container.  Inside is one long print raft, with 8 37mm twin guns, covered in a large piece of cotton.  You can see the remnants of the cotton in the pictures - it's hard to get off.  The weapons are printed as a single piece.

There is good detail, with seats, sights and thin barrels, which have visible flash suppressors. The barrels are slightly toed in on each mount, you'll have to use some caution while a) removing these from the print raft and b) trying to gently straighten the barrels.  A friend brought along his Roma to a local IPMS club meeting, for me to compare the guns with the injections molded parts.  The kit parts look much larger than the 3D printed parts, but now I think I may have photographed the kits 20mm mounts, not the 37mm mounts (insert face palm).

Close ups of some of the details.

There are no instructions.  If you go to the product page on the Swordfish website, you'll find general instructions on how to remove the parts from the print raft.

CONCLUSIONS
This is another entry into Swordfish Models ever expanding range of 3D printed accessories. As with the other sets I've seen, these are another solid for modelers looking to upgrade their injection molded kits with some detail.  A plus is the fact that there are eight of these included in the set, making these a good bargain.  Recommended.
