Out of the "Great Northwest", a new player has arrived on the 3D printed modeling scene.   Long-time Modelwarships vendor Kraken Hobbies has gone from selling others products, to designing, making and selling their own 3D printed products.   Their website says that their "initial offering will be USN, focused in the Guadalcanal era, however no subject is necessarily out of the question".  True to their word, one of the first products received at Modelwarships review HQ is 1/350 USS Oklahoma BB-37 1941 Funnel, which is a 3D printed funnel for the battleship USS Oklahoma, sunk at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

USS Oklahoma (BB-37) was the second ship of the Nevada-class.  The class introduced, according to WIkipedia "...significant developments in battleship design, being the first in the world to adopt "all or nothing" armor, a major step forward in armor protection because it emphasized protection optimized for long-range engagements before the Battle of Jutland demonstrated the need for such a layout. They also introduced three-gun turrets and oil-fired water-tube boilers to the US fleet."   Laid down in October 1912, in Camden NJ, she was commissioned in May 1916.   She spent the last few months of the Great War in Castletownbere (formerly Berehaven) Ireland.

Oklahoma is best known for her tragic demise during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December, 1941, where, moored outboard of the battleship Maryland, she was stuck by as many at eight aerial torpedoes in the first minutes of the attack.   As a result, she rolled over, taking 429 of her crew to their deaths, the second highest death toll after the more famous USS Arizona.   Righted and refloated, in an epic bit of salvage, she was stripped of her remaining weapons and towed away to be scrapped in 1947.  Oklahoma sunk under tow enroute to the US mainland, nearly dragging the tug Hercules down with her.

OKLAHOMA FUNNEL
The packaging is in a large plastic clamshell container, with the small 3D printed runner holding the funnel secured to the bottom of the packaging with thick double sided tape.   This prevents the runner from moving during shipping.   The label states the funnel is for 1941.

There is one funnel included in the package.   The funnel surface is covered in nice detail.   There is also really well done piping up the rear of the funnel and on the port side, and some small vent - and funnel grates - on the top.   It's attached to a small 3D printed wafer.

CONCLUSIONS
Unless you are scratch build one, the only available kit to date of USS Oklahoma in 1/350 is the the IronShipwright/Commanders Models kit.   As you can see in the photo above, this 3D printed version is an upgrade over the cast resin version included with the BB-37 kit.   The detail, piping and funnel grates all make this funnel pop.   Kraken Hobbies also has other accessories available to upgrade your ISW/Commanders Oklahoma

This is Kraken Hobbies 1/350 USS Oklahoma BB-37 1941 Funnel.  It retails for $12.99  USD, and is available directly from Kraken Hobbies, who I'd like to thank for this review sample.   Highly recommended!
