Classic Warship Publishing has released a new book, the 48th in it's Warship Pictorial line. This one focuses on the battleships, or Schlachtschiff, as the Germans called them, of the Imperial German High Seas Fleet in World War I. |

This book has 72 pages,
featuring some 90 images, including some colorized
photos. There are lots of interesting photos of the
different ships, with many great detail shots that
modelers will find useful. The photos are
distributed across the different classes of ships, though
the Hegoland class seems to have the most
representation.
One of the highlights of the book are some of two page shots of several of these magnificent vessels, including two of the Hegoland-class and one of Bayern. The colorized photo of Nassau on the back cover of the book is also quite nice. |
