Classic Warship Publishing has released a new book, the 47th in it's Warship Pictorial line.   This one focuses on the battlecruisers, or Großer Kreuzer, as the Germans called them, of the Imperial German High Seas Fleet in World War I.
This book features 72 pages, with over 80 images, including several colorized photos and one original color photo of Yavuz (ex-Goeben) in Turkey, circa 1952.   There a lots of interesting photos of the different Großer Kreuzers, with a preponderance of photos of the first German Battlecruiser, Von der Tann.   There are also a lot of photos of Seydlitz, which may be the most famous of all the German Battlecruisers.

One of the highlights of the book are the beautiful, two page beauty shots of several of the Großer Kreuzers towards the back of the book.  These are splendid images of these handsome warships.

Conclusions:

If you are a fan of the Imperial German Navy's Großer Kreuzers, you'll want this book from Classic Warships Publishing.   In my opinion, the aforementioned two page beauty shots alone make this book worth purchasing.
