Ray D. Bean, a well known modeler and professional photographer by trade, has compiled this photo CD of Spruance Class Destroyers detail pictures.

There are 240 images of the Spruance class on this CD, including detailed drawings of deck markings, several different helicopters, close ups of masts, weapons, hangars, etc. Ray has gone through the trouble of captioning every photo, so you know exactly what you are looking at. This CD is perfect for ship modelers, no detail is missed with these excellent photos.

The images on the CD are print quality and range in size from 168 kilobytes to 3 plus megs and sizes typically around 3600 pixels wide. To view the images just pop in the CD and display them using your computers file browser just like images on your hard drive.

CONCLUSIONS

Currently Ray D. Bean has 20 volumes of photo CD's available. There are other titles on the rest of the Nimitz class and many other US Navy subjects. If you like to superdetail your ships, then this is just the tool you need. This one runs $20 and is available direct from Still Motion Photographics.
