Profile Morskie has released another dual language book. This one features the IJN Kirishima in 1942. Like their other books this one is rich with detail drawings and rendered views of the ship. The book is dated as 1942, but there are also many historical photos that show the ship at various points in her career. The plans are very well drawn in 1/500 scale and include many views of the superstructure including sections cut away so you can see views normally blocked from view. Rigging is shown in some drawings and should be a big help to anyone wanting to superdetail any of the kits now on the market.

As a bonus, the book includes a code that will allow you download the electronic plans in Adobe PDF format. These are reproduced in 1/200, 1/350 and 1/700 scale. 
Conclusions:

For years many of us bought these books when they were only printed in the Polish language. The illustrations made up for the lack of text. But now you can read and enjoy every illustration.
