This new book from Osprey Publishing is an overview of the Japanese Heavies during the war years. This book covers design and history of the different CA's. The battles that featured these ships is covered highlighting their roles in the action. There are plenty of illustrations including cutaway drawings and plenty rendered plan and elevation views. The selection of photos is pretty good, but it would have been nice if they were reproduced in a larger size.
