Flagship Models How To CD

Flagship is back with another how-to modeling CD. This one written by Greg Murphy details how to build wooden ships. In this 10 page example Greg builds the Range an early US Cutter. This is a plank on frame kit and the techniques for building are described in a logical way enabling even a beginner to try their hand at it. Special tools used to get it right are illustrated. The author shows everything from bending the planks to rigging the sails. The CD plays in a standard CD or DVD player and uses Adobe Acrobat to view these files. It can downloaded for free from the Adobe site.

Conclusions: If you plan to build a plank on frame kit, then this CD would be a good companion. This is CD number FMCD-16 Building Wood Ship Models by Greg Murphy (10 pgs) for $12.95 and is available direct from Flagship. If you haven't been to the new Flagship website, you should check it out.
