AA Military Research Reference CD Reviewed by Timothy Dike

Ron Smith has expanded his line of research CD's to include British subjects. This CD represents part one with Hunt and Tribal class destroyers that served in the Royal Navy and other Navies. Like his other CD's this one includes a convenient menu that allows you to navigate easily through the photos. The Hunt class section is divided into Types I trough IV with several photos of each. The Tribal class section is broken down into British, Canadian, and Australian sections. There are plenty of photos of the ships, most I have never seen in print before. Most are high resolution photos but I found some to be rather grainy. The photos included on the CD are well beyond what you can find on the net. The average image size is 3200 x 2200 pixels in size. Conclusions: This new CD is a must have for British Navy fans. $32.00 is not a bad price for 175 Hunt and 44 Tribal class photos. This CD should be a big help to those interested in these destroyers.
