Once again the UK IPMS International ScaleModelworld show as held at the International Center at Telford in the UK. It was the 50 year anniversary of the IPMS, making the show bigger and better --especially on the Saturday--very busy! Most traders I spoke to reported on the whole, an upturn in business. One opf the recent special features of the show has been the presence of real life 1/1 scale armour -- this certainly added interest to armour modellers ; a RAF fuel Bowser----as well as a Huey Helicopter (!!)
along with a Supermarine Spitfire--this was very popular with many modellers sitting in the ( tight! ) cockpit--having their photos taken!!Too many ships and persons to list individually! There were some very very fine models to be seen-- many of which were not in the competition. I did not manage to photograph all the ships at the show- and some of my photos were sadly unusable- so apologies for any omissions….
I hope the photos give a flavour of the models could be seen at the show.
