IPMS Vancouver Fall Show Saturday, October 6 2007 There weren't too many ships this year, unfortunately. However, of those that did enter, quite a few of them were spectacular entries. The first two pics are from the "Out of the Box - Naval" category. I guess one of Juniors thought that was the Junior category... The CSS Atlanta from Verlinden Productions (which I have unbuilt, incidentally!) was in the "Masters" category. A beautiful entry, for sure; I can only hope mine will turn out a fifth as good. The HMCS Kootenay, HMCS Haida, and Esso Glasgow were in the 1/600 and larger engine-powered category. The HMS Renown and USS Card were in the 1/601 and smaller engine powered category. If I had entered my BB-63, I might've secured third place by default! The single sailing vessel (which I cannot remember the name of, other than that it's HMS) was the only entry in its section. The Atragon submarine from Fujimi was an interesting entry in the sci-fi section; certainly not one that one would see often! Finally, there's a work-in-progress build of the USS Block Island, from the same builder of the USS Card. Naturally, it wasn't a contestant, but was put on display as part of the club display.
